TIM LORGE FEATURED IN HAWAIIAN AIRLINES HANA HOU MAGAZINE
Nestled in the December/January 2026 Hawaiian Airlines in-flight magazine is an amazing article, Channeling Greatness, written by Beau Flemister about Class of 2026’s Tim Lorge’s quest to cross the notoriously difficult Kaiwi Channel at only 16 years of age, becoming the youngest ever to complete this feat. Kaiwi Channel is listed as one of the Oceans Seven, the swimming equivalent to the Seven Summits mountaineering challenge.
Visually well written, Channeling Greatness touches upon the emotions and preparation Tim and his family faced during each step of this journey.
A fascinating read. I give it two thumbs up, a five-star review. But yah, I’m biased. So proud of Tim Lorge and our Cougars on how they aspire and inspire.
