COUGARS COMPETE AT THE SCIENCE OLYMPIAD

COUGARS COMPETE AT THE. SCIENCE OLYMPIAD

The Kaiser High School Science Olympiad team competed at the Hawaii State Science Olympiad tournament held at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa on March 6. The event brought together teams from 12 schools from across the state, including schools from the outer islands, for a full day of STEM competition.

Students competed in more than 23 different events spanning biology, chemistry, physics, engineering, and earth science. Throughout the day, Kaiser students tested their knowledge, problem-solving skills, and teamwork in a wide range of challenges that highlight the excitement of hands-on STEM learning.

The team took 5th place overall and had several individual event placements including:

5th place Disease Detectives Daphne Chua-Chiaco and Mia Matsuura
